Wool pads: Wool pads add cut on the polishing systems they suit. Fibre length, wool blend and backing affect how the pad runs and what finish it leaves; approval for a rotary doesn't carry over to every dual action system.
Pad diameter, backing plate and polish have to match up before the combination goes near paint.
