Backing plates for dual action polishers
Backing plates for dual action polishers: backing plates pass the machine's movement on to suitable polishing pads. Mount, thread and permitted pad size have to match the machine; the backing plate size is not the same thing as the outer pad diameter.
Thread, mount and system approval all have to line up; similar diameters on their own are still no proof of compatibility.
